Gas gauge not working or reading properly
Hi to all, need help on my gas gauge. It doesn't read properly. I put a new gas tank with new sending unit or fuel tank sending unit. My dash gauge reads where the high red mark is or 1/4 tank. When I installed the new tank I put silicone on the positive post of the sending unit, and not the die-electric grease. I don't know if that's my problem. I unplug the positive cable in the trunk and notice that the gas needle climb to the full position. I think that the dash gas gauge is working. When I plug it back on it drops to the high red position. The tank is full of gas. So if anyone has been in this situation or knows what may be occurring please send me an e-mail at dxrulezu@aol.com or here in the forum,
Thanks !!!

Properly working of the gauge of the gas kit is may cause of the expulsion in case of leakage the gas and smoking on that time. On the gas station an accident with car of college paper review company has occurred and whole the car was destroyed.
