Can't decide which car to redo with my son

My wife has given me the green light to go ahead and buy a project car for my son and I to work on. Now that she has finally agreed, I can't decided what car I want to redo with him and if I want to give it to him for his 16th birthday. I still have 5 years before I have to make that decision, but I was wondering what everyone thinks. What car should I restore and should I give it to him after we get it all finished?

I definitely think that you should give your son the car after you two are finished as long as he is responsible enough. This is something that did with my son and he was so grateful and cherished that car for so many years. In fact, to this day he still has the car and he comes and picks me up on a Sunday sometimes and we go for a drive. In my opinion this is one of the best things you could ever do for your son.
